Welcome to Mixed Reality League PDF Print option in slimbox / lytebox? (info)

The Mixed Reality League is engaged in interaction between virtual and real components. To provide a consistent basis to research this interaction the Mixed Reality System was created to simulate a soccer game with real robots on a virtual playing field.

Several teams all over the world are working on a way to perfect the communication between robot behavior and vision tracking. The robots behave without any human interaction based on the AI that is programmed by each team. Different robot behaviors interacting with each other result in an exciting soccer game where strengths and weaknesses can be shown.

To introduce the Mixed Reality System, its robots and components there's a video which gives a quick introduction. Jan Carstensen from RoboCup Team WF Wolves describes how the system works and how all components interact with each other. Flash Player required.
